Top-Down Slab Track Construction in Edmonton & Toronto

Together with our partners at REMCAN Projects, we successfully installed new sections of slab track on the new Edmonton Valley Line West extension.

For this top-down track installation, we utilized our proprietary Rhomberg Sersa Rail Group RhoTAS track adjustment system, allowing us to position the track precisely to absolute coordinates using a track survey trolley and total station before casting the concrete base.

Another successful project using the RhoTAS system and top-down installation method was the Davenport Diamond Grade Separation Project for Metrolinx in Toronto—a crucial component of the GO Expansion in the Greater Toronto Area.
